I’m looking at changing the formatting for the weekly comic posts, and this is a test for the new format. I’m following the lead of Brad Guigar of Evil Inc., and other webcartoonists, and I’m looking at breaking the full comic page into smaller segments that can potentially flow better between posts while still combining into a complete story more easily. I’m going to try this for a little while as I’m also spending my time assembling a Kickstarter for collecting the Rocked by Roid Rage story arc into a new graphic novel.  I’ll be posting links to the new Kickstarter some time this week!
Punchline hired a cameraman?! How stupid can this guy be? It’s not so hard to operate a hand-held camera and establish a public uplink. Bringing in outside help just complicates matters and runs the risk of exposure. He’d have to pay this guy a lot of money to keep him from running to the cops afterwards and telling what he knows about this costumed clown.
A fair point, but in a comic called Henchmen for Hire I’d say the hiring of a henchman is to be expected. XvD
Not to be a downer, (’cause I like the comic) but, most web comics that use this format update two or three times a week. It’s often two to four weeks between your updates… Just sayin’.
You’re absolutely right that these other webcomics update more frequently, and I wish I could update more often, but it’s a labor of love that I put out for free, so I can only do it when I can shake the time free.
I’m glad you enjoy the comic. Please spread the word and let your friends know about it. And if you’re interested, I’ve got a Kickstarter campaign for a Henchmen Graphic Novel that you can support also.
Its a free comic, and we do not want the artist to feel that it’s a job but a pleasure to do the comic….keep the comic coming in the pace you are comfortable with so you do not burn out…..
Of course we the fans of the comic want as many updates as possible 🙂 But we understand it take time to do a such good comic….
