Little did I know back when I started this story arc that all of the Marvel movie universe would start going into alternate timelines and branching realities. I guess I was ahead of the curve….
More like Marvel was behind the curve. The Marvel multiverse has long been a selling point of their titles. Sure, it has been used for more than a few lame retcons, but it still allows better storytelling when adding fantastic elements (like time travel) than you get in settings that try to stick to a fixed number of alternates, or even no alternates at all.
Anyway, looking forward to the rest of the story. 🙂
Yeah, this would be a situation where clear communication becomes very important. 🙂
To be honest, I’m still wondering what happened to the displaced natives of this time line. Most benign possibility is that they are causing chaos or else lying low on the timeline that the heroes came from but I can think of other possibilities. @_@
Hey, alternate timeline is how you bring back all the dead characters to milk them for maximum money.
Exactly, it was only a matter of time before they wrote themselves into a corner somewhere and decided to break out the alternate timelines.
