This is one of those scenes where I think the last two panels would work better in film rather than as a comic. I like the way this looks, but one of the limitations of the medium is that it’s harder to control the pacing of the action for the best dramatic effect.

I betting there was a pretty good reason it was decided to end his particular career… like he was starting to go toward a criminal career.
I bet they’ll need his abilities to counter the threat.
Or maybe the whole “Robot Hero” thing was just a storyline feint and he really is the original, that was kept in statis?
In either case, why does this cell not have some emergency power supply? Even just a battery. Way to skimp on the redundancy there, Tek Support. Even an admin gives his servers a battery so they can at least properly shut down…

He may be on back-up power. The android could have an internal battery of limited duration, and this is a fail-safe to keep him from ‘dying.’
