If you’re one of several readers who signed up for Henchmen News in that little box to the right of the comic page, then you should have gotten your first Henchmen news flash some time today. I’ve sent along an early black-and-white preview of the ‘cover’ art and tentative title for the next story. I’ll be posting the full color version of the preview some time next week, so if you haven’t signed up you won’t miss anything, but if you want to get an early peek at what’s developing, be sure to sign up for the ‘newsletter.’
The next page is delayed until Wednesday. I have to admit that I haven’t been in a hurry to get this one finished, since it’s the last page for the “VIXX Saga” that I started over a year ago, and I’m kind of sad to have it come to an end.  After I post this page on Wednesday, I’ll be taking a break and then the Henchmen will be returning on Monday, April 16 and we’ll begin a brand new storyline.
Along with several new storylines I’ve been considering, I’ve also begun planning some new cool stuff for the future. One new item of interest is that I’m looking at putting together a Kickstarter campaign so that I can collect the entire VIXX Saga and offer it as a graphic novel in the near future.  Drop me a comment if you think you might be interested in that, or in any other Henchmen-related items that I could offer in conjunction with the book.
Also, thanks for all the great comments and feedback!
Tune in on Wednesday for the last page.

Sorry, but the Friday posting will be delayed due to ‘technical difficulties’.
Among other problems, the comments system is getting bombed with spam again, but I’d rather not turn off the comments if I can help it, since I get some really great feedback from real readers, but it’s getting to where I have to sort through 50-100 junk comments just to find the real ones….
However, we should be back on track by Monday, March 5. Check in then for the next update!
I submitted a second sketch to the Comic Book Resources website ‘The Line is Drawn’ Challenge. This week’s challenge was to draw one of the submitted suggestions for an unusual character ‘team-up.’ This is what I came up with:
Of course, this is meant to be a parody of the famous ‘Dark Knight’ page. You can see my entry and all of the other great illustrations here.
I submitted a sketch to the Comic Book Resources website challenge for their “The Line Is Drawn” feature. The first week’s challenge was to make a super hero or villain out of a fictional or real character from a supplied list of names. I did a quick sketch of “The Agents of OZ”  I thought it came out kind of neat, and who knows, maybe I can use some version of these characters in a future Henchmen outing.
Here’s a link to the page where my sketch is posted. There are a lot of great ideas and illustrations by over 100 artists. Check them out!
