I submitted a sketch to the Comic Book Resources website challenge for their “The Line Is Drawn” feature. The first week’s challenge was to make a super hero or villain out of a fictional or real character from a supplied list of names. I did a quick sketch of “The Agents of OZ”  I thought it came out kind of neat, and who knows, maybe I can use some version of these characters in a future Henchmen outing.
Here’s a link to the page where my sketch is posted. There are a lot of great ideas and illustrations by over 100 artists. Check them out!

The Scarecrow (really scary!) reminds me of this photograph I saw of another take on the Oz character: Zombie Scarecrow. Why Zombie? Because he wants braaaaiiinnsss….
It looks like the “do Oz Patrol” Just need to put the Wizard out front in a wheelchair with a blanket. 🙂 RobotTinMan, Negative Scarecrow, Beasty Lion Boy and Elasti-Dorothy. 🙂 Just need The Chief Wizard. 🙂
(and no, I don’t think this is a bad thing. 🙂 I just think I connect up patterns far, far too easily.) Keep up the great idea work, Jeff! 🙂
Gun packing sexy Dorothy…now that is COOL!!! Wish all children stories get a good cool re-imaging like this…This would make a very interesting cartoon.
