When I was a kid reading comics, one of the things I looked forward to was the big battle scenes.  There was always an ongoing debate among young Marvel Comics fans about which hero was stronger, and who would win in a fight between the Thing and the Hulk, or some other pair of relatively evenly-matched characters. When these showdowns actually took place, it was a comic EVENT.
So this page is sort of a tribute to those good ol’ days of comic slugfests. Not a lot of dialog going on here, but a lot of sound effects and good old fashioned fisticuffs. Yay!
In case you were wondering why he still HAS a face, Chance covered up just before the explosion. All that padding did the rest….
