I’m old enough to remember when the original Terminator movies, with a very young Arnold Schwarznegger first arrived in the movie theaters. One of the many scenes that stuck in my head from those films was when the terminator arrives from the future in a bubble of energy. The bubble cut a circle into the ground and cut away anything else that intersected with its energy.  I wanted the last panel to have that same look, but I hadn’t quite figured out how to make it work. I may come back and revise this page if I decide to gather Origins into a graphic novel….

Up to this point we’ve been laying the groundwork for “Origins,” and the Henchmen haven’t actually appeared in the story yet. Have no fear, as the guys (and Lowla) will arrive shortly, and we can really start to get things rolling.
In the meantime, IÂ hope you had a very happy Holiday Season, and I’m wishing you a bright and shiny New Year in 2018!
The annual Collective of Heroes Secret Santa event for 2017 came around again, and the talented Corey Kramer, creator of Wonder Weenies sent this great cartoon of the Henchmen doing seasonal work for Santa.
In turn, I drew Santa getting a superhero-style makeover with the characters from The Hero Business by Bill Walko.
Wishing you all a Happy Holiday Season!
