This was a more difficult page to write than most of the others, just because you need to believe that Tinker can get through to Dana Fields just through the power of his words. If comics is a mostly-visual medium, then I think one of the more difficult things to do is to ‘show’ a character being deeply intelligent….
When your world is full of super-powered, flying, indestructible beings, it doesn’t make sense to think too seriously about the laws of physics. VIXX picking up the bus from the front end just looks really cool, and that’s all I wanted to draw, but it seemed necessary to add a little comment from Chance here. It’s ALL ‘magic’ when you think about it anyhow….
…Or ‘The Bus Misses Evers’ might be more accurate.
The henchmen aren’t super-powered, but they’re a resourceful and clever bunch of guys.
