There’s a lot more going on here than she suspects, and Evers seemingly back from the dead is plenty to deal with anyway, so she’s trying to simplify and ‘work the problem.’

It’s an ongoing question – how do you prove that you’re not a clone, robot copy, or some other strange copy of yourself?
In addition to knowing the Henchmen (or whoever she thinks they are), this world’s version of Tek Girl is a natural blonde. In the original version she was dark haired and wore a blonde wig/head protection, but that was just too impractical. Old-time comic readers may remember that the original Black Canary was also black haired, and wore a long blonde wig to disguise herself. Over time the writers abandoned the wig idea and she was blonde all the time as well. The switching hair is just too confusing and leads to continuity problems….
